Internationale samenwerking
EcoNatura werkt ook aan internationaal natuurbeheer. Hier komt vaak veel bij kijken zoals het onderhouden van goede interculturele relaties met counterparts en lokale gemeenschappen en het creëren van duurzame synergie. Econatura heeft in het buitenland en in ontwikkelingslanden ervaring met onder meer:

- 1997: Successful project proposal for conservation of wetlands in the Azov-Black Sea in Ukraine (Wetlands International).
- 1999: Institutional capacity building for a Regional Biodiversity Centre for the Black Sea in Batumi in Georgia) (EU-TACIS, International Center for Water Studies/DHV). → Conservation work on Kolkheti Wetlands
- 1999: Landscape and biological diversity surveys in Georgia in collaboration with the Georgian Centre for the Conservation of Wildlife.
- 2000: A workshop and field survey on ecological networking in Georgia, for the Georgian Centre for the Conservation of Wildlife.
- 2000: Conservation activities for the migratory bird flyway along the Georgian Black Sea coast. Production of a Georgian raptor guide with Dutch bird illustrators. (GCCW, BirdLife International, Batumi Raptor Count).
- 2000: A study tour for Georgian scientists to Dutch water management institutions. (EU-TACIS, International Center for Water Studies/DHV)
- 2001-2002: Development of an ecotourism project in Georgia.
